About the role
We are currently looking for a Caretaker for an educational institution in Stockholm! The work will be largely practical, involving proactive rounds across all the institution's premises. You will also use a computer in your daily work, for example for case management systems, email, and collaboration platforms.

The role also includes conducting rounds and maintaining both theoretical and practical facilities, as well as the systems and services we provide.

The position includes the following tasks:

• Conduct rounds and inspections of facilities and associated technology and systems.
• Inventory, maintenance, and minor repairs of the university's equipment, furniture, and premises.
• Staffing the caretaker's service desk.
• Handling access cards for students, including photography.
• Managing locks, alarms, and access card systems.
• Administering, handling, and following up on various incoming cases in the case management system.
• Following established routines in the collaboration platform and updating them as needed.
• Providing support and assistance regarding A/V (audiovisual) equipment in premises in collaboration with the IT department.
• Handling mail and deliveries.
• Performing minor rearrangements (for larger moves, professional moving assistance is always hired).

Contract period and scope:
The position of Caretaker is a full-time consultancy assignment starting on 2026-08-10 and is expected to run until 2026-12-31. Working hours are between 07:00 and 16:00.

Requirements for the position:

• At least three (3) years of work experience as a caretaker.
• Class B driver's license.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office or equivalent software.
• Basic knowledge of case management systems.
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
