The Care Office is responsible for measures for the elderly and people with disabilities on behalf of the Care Committee and the Elderly Care Committee. You belong to the Quality and Development Unit within the Care Office's secretariat. The working group includes business strategists, MAS, MAR, vocational teachers in care and nursing, and the chief secretary.

Your responsibilities

As SAS, you drive and support the Care Office's quality and development work within elderly care and disability services. You support operations in matters concerning quality, legal certainty, and social services regulations, and contribute to translating legislation and knowledge into sustainable working methods. You work for a modern, evidence-based, and preventive social service with a focus on follow-up, learning, and improvement. The role requires close collaboration, dialogue, and an approach that makes it easy to do the right thing.

Examples of areas of work:

  • develop, follow up, and ensure the quality of work according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS)
  • investigate and follow up on Lex Sarah and contribute to learning and improvement
  • produce and follow up on guidelines, routines, and self-inspections
  • provide support to management, managers, and operations in matters concerning quality, documentation, and legal certainty
  • review documentation based on legislation, regulations, and IBIC
  • contribute to educational initiatives, development work, and the transition to the new Social Services Act
  • collaborate with operations and other functions

Who are you?

Then you may be the right person for the position of Socially Responsible Coordinator (SAS). In this role, you support operations with structure, follow-up, and improvement, with a focus on legislation and sustainable working methods.

Requirements:

  • You have a degree in social work or other relevant higher education that the employer considers equivalent.
  • You have several years of experience within social services, preferably within elderly care, disability services, or other municipal care and nursing operations.
  • You have good knowledge of relevant legislation, such as SoL and LSS, as well as experience in quality work, follow-up, or operational development.
  • You express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Merits:

  • Experience in SAS function or similar quality assurance role, Lex Sarah investigations, self-inspections, drawing up guidelines, as well as change management and implementation of new working methods.

  • You are secure, analytical, and quality-conscious.
  • You communicate clearly and pedagogically, work well in teams, and drive development in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
