About the Company
Tectum Byggnader AB is a stable family-owned company founded in 1975 and is one of Southern Sweden's largest suppliers of steel structures for industry and agriculture, car halls, as well as equestrian and sports halls. At Tectum, we currently have just over 20 employees and have delivered approximately 5,000 buildings since our inception. The company has its roots in Vinslöv but is now located in a newly built office on Ängamöllan in Kristianstad. Our current Financial Controller is moving on to another role, so we are now looking for someone to take on her responsibilities. In this recruitment process, we are collaborating with Wikan Personal.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the finances at Tectum Byggnader as well as seven other smaller companies within the group. As the Financial Controller at Tectum, you will work broadly with final accounts, annual reports, ongoing bookkeeping, customer and supplier ledgers, some invoicing such as internal and rental invoicing, statistics, and VAT returns. You will alternate between operational tasks (accounting) combined with strategic issues where you look ahead and contribute to developing Tectum's operations and the continued growth journey. You will be the owners' sounding board regarding finance and accounting, supporting with follow-ups, KPIs/key figures, business models, etc. The role also involves some minor work related to the occupational health and safety manual and its tasks. You will be part of a team of four people in finance/administration who work closely together and help each other with tasks when time permits.
Your Background and Qualities
The ideal candidate has an academic education in economics and at least three years of experience in a similar role within accounting and controlling, where you have worked both operationally and strategically. Experience in economic work from private companies is advantageous, preferably with experience from the construction, real estate, or forestry industries. You have a good understanding of how the flow works throughout the entire economic process and thrive when working with deadlines for reporting and accounting. You are confident in your role and used to working both independently and together with colleagues. You are computer literate, familiar with the Office package, and have experience with some accounting system (we use Hogia). You express yourself well in speech and writing. We place great importance on your personal qualities! We are looking for someone who is commercial and innovative in their profile as an economist. Furthermore, you are flexible, positive, and self-initiating. You are good at taking initiative, collaborating, and thrive working close to the operations. In your work style, you are efficient, structured, and have a strong sense of order.
