Your role with us
As an HR Specialist with us, you, together with six colleagues, provide consultative and coaching HR support to the management's directors. As a substitute, you work with the entire HR area, such as labor law, rehabilitation, competence supply, working environment, salary issues, equal treatment, recruitment, and executive recruitment. With us, you get to work in a broad and independent role where you can engage in strategic issues based on your competence. You work closely with your colleagues and we develop together.
As an HR Specialist, you are also the contact person for one or more business areas, and you work closely with business managers, unit managers, principals, and other support functions. The municipality also has a central HR department that drives strategic issues and serves as a support to the administrations' HR functions.
A major focus area for the administration is competence supply at both strategic and operational levels, as well as systematic working environment work. A good working environment is crucial for being an attractive employer and thereby securing future competence supply. The HR department supports the operations in the long term so that our children and students can achieve knowledge goals.
As an HR Specialist, you have an important role in the administration's development work. You can also work in overarching development work for Kristianstad Municipality regarding employer issues, and you act as an ambassador for the HR function within the administration.
Who are we looking for?
You have a degree from the Personnel and Working Life program from a university/college, minimum 120 credits/180 ECTS, or another university education of at least 180 ECTS that the employer deems equivalent. We want you to have work experience that has involved close collaborations, contacts, and meetings with other people. Qualified experience within the HR area is merit-based. For the position, you are required to have good knowledge of the laws and agreements within the HR area.
You have good communication skills and the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as communication and documentation are part of the work. Of course, you can handle digital technology. You who apply to us have a B-driver's license to easily get around in our municipality when needed.
The work requires you to have a consultative, professional, and coaching approach. This means that you can build trusting relationships but are also good at listening, showing empathy, and respect. You are a structured person who drives your own work and can work independently.

Salary
Kristianstad Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting.
Start Date
The position is a substitute role with a start date in August 2026 with a duration until January 31, 2027. There is a great possibility of extension. Interviews are planned for June 29-30.
Salary type: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
