About the role – a teaching position beyond the ordinary
As a teacher at Nytorpsskolan, you work in a resource school context, where teaching takes place in small groups or individually, with high staff density. Our students have, for example, autism, ADHD, and/or severe school anxiety, which means that the teaching needs to be clearly structured, individualized, and flexible.
Here, the relationship with the student is a prerequisite for learning. You work low-arousal (calm and regulated), predictably, and with a strong focus on safety, motivation, and trust.
The role involves:
- planning, implementing, and following up on Swedish language instruction based on each student's prerequisites
- adapting instruction according to daily mood, attendance, and needs
- working closely with student assistants, student health services, and school management
- collaborating closely with guardians and other actors around the student
- actively participating in teacher meetings, work team meetings, and student health meetings
- contributing to the school's continued development together with colleagues
