Do you want to help shape the future of patient-near diagnostics in Värmland?
We are now seeking dedicated biomedical scientists for a new and exciting initiative within Clinical Chemistry, where you will combine technology, quality, and development in a supportive working environment.
Clinical Chemistry at the Central Hospital is part of Laboratory Medicine Värmland. Within Laboratory Medicine, there are four specialties: Clinical Chemistry, Transfusion Medicine, Clinical Pathology, and Clinical Microbiology, the latter two being located only at the Central Hospital in Karlstad.
Laboratory Medicine is divided into eight units located at three hospitals, 23 health centers, and GeBlod Karlstad. Laboratory Medicine is accredited according to ISO 15189.
At the Clinical Chemistry unit at the Central Hospital, approximately 70 employees work in a 24/7 operation. Within Clinical Chemistry, the Patient-Near Diagnostics Administration (PNA Administration) is currently being established. This is a new and exciting initiative where we develop and ensure the quality of patient-near diagnostics to guarantee fast and reliable test results in healthcare. Here, you will work in a dynamic environment with close collaboration across operational boundaries and the opportunity to influence how the PNA activity grows.
We are currently seeking three biomedical scientists or individuals with equivalent relevant education who wish to help shape the future of patient-near diagnostics in Värmland.
As a biomedical scientist within the PNA Administration, you will play a central role in developing and driving the activity forward. Your responsibilities include:
