Welcome to Kil Health Center!

We are looking for a District Nurse/Registered Nurse with the possibility to start working at short notice, as we have a planned leave of absence.

Kil Health Center has 11,500 registered patients and approximately 30 employees. We are a well-functioning health center with experienced and dedicated staff. We are a wonderful group that really enjoys working together and cares about each other!

The health center is located in a beautiful natural setting, about two miles north of Karlstad, and has good transport connections, with both bus and train available as alternatives. You will work in a team together with other district nurses/registered nurses, doctors (district, specialty training, and probationary doctors), assistant nurses, healthcare administrators, chiropodists, counselors, rehabilitation coordinators, and caretakers. The health center also has a physiotherapy clinic, a Maternal and Child Health Center (BVC), and a laboratory.

Your Responsibilities

As a District Nurse or Registered Nurse, you will work within primary care, including independent clinic work and telephone advice.

In case of acute care, our approach is based on an interdisciplinary acute team. We also offer specialist nurse clinics for conditions such as diabetes, heart failure, asthma/COPD, and dementia. At Kil Health Center, we use the electronic health record system Cosmic.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed District Nurse or Registered Nurse. We place great emphasis on your ability to collaborate, flexibility, structured work approach, and taking responsibility for your tasks and assignments. We appreciate that you are curious and eager to develop.
