We are looking for an Occupational Therapist for the clinic in Hagfors!
Your workplace
As an occupational therapist, you work independently with patients both individually and in groups, in close collaboration with a colleague in Hagfors and a colleague in Sunne. The clinic in Hagfors also employs physiotherapists and a care administrator. The team has an open atmosphere where questions are exchanged between new and more experienced colleagues. The clinic is located adjacent to the primary healthcare center and its professionals.
You will have the opportunity to influence your introduction and can be offered a mentor if you wish. Our leadership style is based on developmental and trust-based leadership, allowing you as an individual and the organization to develop in the best possible way. As an employee, this gives you greater influence, as well as more freedom and responsibility in your work. At our workplace, high accessibility, good quality, and a welcoming attitude are of great importance.
Primary Care Rehabilitation North has occupational therapy clinics in Hagfors, Sunne, and Munkfors, as well as physiotherapy clinics at all primary healthcare centers in northern Värmland. Within the entire Primary Care Rehabilitation department, approximately 15 occupational therapists work at various clinics in the county. We hold regular network meetings to exchange experiences and develop our operations. Our core values are important to us, and we collaborate with other units to offer the best possible care for our patients.
We are constantly working on improvements, with recent focus on digitalization and accessibility. As an employer, it is important to us that you have the opportunity to develop and thrive.
We are a health-promoting workplace, which is evident, for example, by scheduling one hour per week for your own physical activity and offering a wellness allowance of 3,000 SEK. Read more about our benefits at Our Benefits - Region Värmland (#).
Primary Care Rehabilitation also invests in professional development for occupational therapists, including the implementation of a career development model. Using the competence development plan as a starting point, we plan your continued career with us together.
Your responsibilities
As an occupational therapist, you work to help patients achieve or maintain the best possible activity and functional capacity, increased independence, and good health. You meet care seekers with varying needs for examination, advice, assessment, and treatment.
The work includes, among other things, activity assessments, hand rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, and cognitive rehabilitation. This position is based in Hagfors, but work at other clinics within the unit may be relevant. You travel during working hours and use a leased car. Since travel may be part of the role, a B-driver's license is required.
Your skills and competencies
We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. Experience in primary care is meritorious but not a requirement; personal suitability is given great weight.
At our workplace, high accessibility, good quality, and a welcoming attitude are central. As an occupational therapist, you are engaged and take responsibility for your tasks. You structure your own approach and drive your processes forward. You adapt easily to changed circumstances, are positive, and see possibilities in change. You see the big picture, consider the broader perspective, and always act in the best interest of the entire operation. You work well with others, relating to them in a listening and smooth manner, and communicate easily with both patients and other stakeholders.
Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, so do not wait with your application. We welcome your application now!
