Are you curious about becoming part of our team?
We offer you a meaningful and varied role where you will have the opportunity to work with children and young people during crucial developmental stages. You will work in an environment with strong team cohesion and a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout the organization.
Your Workplace
The Child and Adolescent Rehabilitation Department serves children and young people up to the age of 17 with persistent, congenital, or acquired disabilities, as well as their families. These children and young people may have motor impairments and/or intellectual disabilities. Our work is based on interdisciplinary teamwork where medical, psychological, pedagogical, and social competencies collaborate. Our approach is person-centered, ensuring that the child is involved in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of interventions.
At our workplace, you will work with driven and engaged colleagues. We work systematically with occupational health and safety and place great emphasis on onboarding and mentoring for new employees. We also conduct structured development work focused on evidence-based group interventions and an expanded range of e-services.
We are also a health-promoting workplace, offering one wellness hour per week, flexible working hours to plan your schedule, a wellness allowance, and access to a gym in the region's facilities.
Your Responsibilities
We offer you a broad and varied position involving helping children, young people, and their parents achieve the best possible conditions for a well-functioning daily life. This includes supporting the child's surroundings in creating good conditions for development and health.
As a psychologist, you will contribute important expertise to the team surrounding the patient. In your role, you will conduct psychological assessments, provide psychological support, counseling, supervision, and treatment to children, young people, and parents, based on the individual's disability and its consequences for the young person's development and daily life. These interventions can be provided both individually and in groups. Psychological investigations also form part of your duties.
In addition, you will participate in planning interventions together with the child, young person, parents, and other key individuals in the patient's network. A significant part of the work involves collaborating with other actors such as the municipality's student health services, preschools/schools, child psychiatry, pediatric medicine, social services, and more. Methodological and development work is also included in the job description.
When you start as a new employee with us, we offer you both mentoring with an experienced psychologist and onboarding and support in your ongoing work.
