Your Workplace

Psychiatric Outpatient Care Karlstad is located close to the city center. We have recently undergone reorganization and, as of November 10, consist of four general psychiatric clinics. Approximately 25 staff members work at the clinic, including doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, and psychotherapists. Collaboration between the clinics is frequent, for example in various group therapies. We are now looking for a nurse for a permanent position.

Your Responsibilities

The tasks are varied and include psychiatric assessment, medication follow-up, telephone advice, and suicide risk assessment. If you are a nurse with basic psychotherapy training, group or individual counseling may also become part of your duties.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or psychiatric nurse with experience from working within psychiatry. It is an advantage if you have worked in psychiatric outpatient care. As a person, you take responsibility and work independently, but you also find it easy to collaborate with others. You thrive in a changing environment, prioritize and organize your work efficiently, and consider the entire operation when making decisions and taking action. Do you want to make a difference?
