We are looking for a new nursing colleague to strengthen our wonderful team at the Nursing Unit in Arvika Municipality!

Description

We are now looking for you who are a registered district nurse or nurse who wants to work within the Nursing Unit in Arvika Municipality.

We believe in balance between work and leisure. Therefore, you will only work a few evenings and one weekend on a six-week schedule. The unit also offers a light weekend schedule, meaning you work a certain number of public holidays per year, with a weekly working time of 39 hours. We try to adapt the schedule as much as possible based on both your needs and the operation's requirements.

We work with mentorship, which means that as a new employee, you get an experienced nurse as a mentor so that you feel secure in your role at the workplace. We also believe that a good introduction is important. Therefore, we adapt the introduction depending on your previous experience and offer a tailored introduction.

Job Responsibilities

You will be placed within LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and work at several residences with patient responsibility at these locations. You work in a team with several other nurses, so it is important that you have good communication skills and can collaborate well with others. Since you, in addition to service users, will also meet and interact with relatives, you must have a good attitude and approach in all situations.

The tasks consist of standard duties for a district nurse or nurse. It is varied work where you are responsible for planning your day together with your colleagues.

As a nurse, you are part of the development work within the healthcare sector, which also includes competence development for care staff. Part of your daily work involves close collaboration, as well as guiding and supporting care staff regarding specific care and delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act. In your work, your knowledge, drive, and good interpersonal skills are of great importance.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse. Class B driver's license is a requirement. Previous experience working in municipal operations is meritorious.

Previous experience working in LSS or psychiatry is also considered meritorious. It is important that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

The position is a permanent employment starting as agreed.
