We are now looking for a nurse for the endoscopy clinic in Arvika, a small unit with extensive knowledge, good cohesion, and excellent opportunities for development in a modern operation.

Your workplace

The endoscopy clinic at Arvika Hospital belongs to the Inpatient Care Arvika area and is a small unit with a high level of commitment to endoscopy. Training is prioritized to keep us updated on the rapid endoscopic developments in Sweden.

Gastroscopies and colonoscopies are performed at the unit. There are two examination rooms, and the operation is largely elective. Doctors and nurses work in teams at the unit, where collaboration and team spirit are important in the daily work with the patient in focus.

Your responsibilities

As a nurse at the endoscopy unit, you are responsible for the care surrounding the patient before, during, and after the examination. An important task for you as a nurse is to help create a sense of security for the patient. You administer sedation and other medications when needed. You will also assist with the examinations. You are responsible for ensuring hygiene and sampling around the patient, as well as handling instruments correctly.

You will receive individually adapted training and take one step at a time so that you feel safe and secure in your role. There is also a great opportunity for development and new learning, as you work together with experienced and engaged colleagues who perform varied tasks.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the willingness and commitment to help others. You have good collaboration skills, adapt easily, and see opportunities in change. You are also quality-conscious in your work and have good empathetic skills in meeting with patients.
