Your workplace

Skåre Health Center is located a convenient bike ride from Karlstad city center, beautifully situated along the Klarälven river, with good bus connections.

The health center has approximately 9,000 registered patients, serving a diverse population including families with children, middle-aged individuals, and seniors. The health center operates efficiently with experienced and dedicated staff.

Your responsibilities

As a psychologist, you will primarily work with evidence-based psychological treatment, crisis intervention, and supportive counseling to some extent. Your duties also include screening for neuropsychiatric conditions.

You will have physical consultations at the clinic. We strive for short waiting times for an initial assessment and good accessibility based on each patient's individual needs. At our clinic, we work across professional boundaries to provide patients with the best and safest care possible.

Your knowledge and skills

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist with experience in treatment work. Previous experience from primary care is an advantage. You have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

You work in a structured manner, can prioritize, and smoothly switch between independent work and teamwork.
