Your workplace

The Child and Adolescent Rehabilitation department is a county-wide specialist resource for individuals with permanent disabilities. The target group consists of children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities and/or neurologically induced motor function impairments. Many also have neuropsychiatric conditions.

At the Child and Adolescent Rehabilitation department, we work in a family-oriented manner with the child's needs at the center to tailor interventions. We work in interdisciplinary teams, offering you varied work with engaged colleagues and great opportunities for professional development. The main workplace is located in Karlstad, but we also have offices in Arvika, Kristinehamn, and Torsby.

Your responsibilities

As a physiotherapist in the team, your responsibilities include assessing and treating children and adolescents with various disabilities. The work also involves testing and following up on assistive devices, as well as consulting with people in the child's or adolescent's immediate environment.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist. A driver's license is required as the position involves travel. A leased car is provided. Experience from rehabilitation work is an advantage.

We assume that you have good collaboration skills and are interested in development work based on your profession. Personal suitability is highly valued.
