We are looking for a new nursing colleague to strengthen our wonderful team at the Nursing Unit in Arvika Municipality!

Description

We are currently looking for you who are a registered district nurse and wish to work within the Nursing Unit in Arvika Municipality.

We believe in a balance between work and leisure. Therefore, you will work only a few evenings and one weekend within a six-week roster. The unit also offers a light weekend schedule, meaning you work a certain number of public holidays per year, with a weekly working time of 39 hours. We strive to adapt the schedule as much as possible based on both your needs and the operations' requirements.

We work with mentorship, which means that as a new employee, you will be assigned an experienced nurse as a mentor to help you feel secure in your role at the workplace. We also believe that a good introduction is important. Therefore, we tailor the introduction process depending on your previous experience and offer a customized onboarding.

Responsibilities

You will be the responsible nurse at Gunnebo, a residential facility located in beautiful Gunnarskog, approximately 2.5 miles north of Arvika. Patients residing here require dementia and somatic care.

You will work together with two other nurses who provide home care, and you will support and cover for each other in all aspects of the job.

The duties consist of standard tasks for a district nurse. It is varied work where you are responsible for planning your day together with your colleagues.

As a nurse, you are part of the development work within the healthcare sector, which also includes competence development for nursing staff. Part of your daily work involves close collaboration, as well as guiding and supporting nursing staff regarding specific care and delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act. In this work, your knowledge, drive, and good interpersonal skills are of great importance.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse. A B-class driver's license is a requirement. Previous experience working within municipal operations is a valuable asset. It is important that you have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

The position is a permanent employment starting as agreed.
