Folktandvården Forshaga is a fresh clinic with plenty of space and large treatment rooms with new treatment chairs. Here works a cheerful group of helpful colleagues who like to develop and have a high work ethic. Within Folktandvården Värmland, there is always good cooperation between general dental clinics and specialists. We are 20 employees and have 6,500 registered patients.

Forshaga, with 11,500 inhabitants, is located approximately two miles north of Karlstad. Good bus connections are available and it is only a 15-minute drive to the airport. The Klarälven river winds through the town, making Forshaga famous for its fishing, especially salmon and trout fishing. The Klarälven Trail, a nine-mile long paved former railway, passes through the community, where you can cycle, walk, and rollerblade on a car-free and nature-rich path between Karlstad and Hagfors. There is a rich association life, an 18-hole golf course, hiking trails, and good opportunities for swimming and skiing.

Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include all common tasks within the dental hygienist profession. This means that as a dental hygienist, you will treat your own patients in child and adult dentistry with examinations, disease-treating measures, and preventive dental care. You will work in a team with dentists and dental nurses. Team dentistry includes, for example, joint examinations.

There are good opportunities for development and expanded responsibilities. We collaborate with the municipality's schools and elderly care through external operations.

Your knowledge and competencies

You are a licensed dental hygienist and have good knowledge of the Swedish language. For us, it is important that you have the ability to work both independently and together with others. You are accommodating in your approach and find it easy to adapt to changed circumstances. To fit in with us, you are engaged and have the will and ability to help others. You plan and organize your work in an efficient manner and ensure the best interests of the operations in your actions and decisions.
