We are strengthening our team and are therefore looking for a licensed psychologist for our counseling clinic at the primary care center Verkstaden in Arvika.

Your workplace

The primary care center Verkstaden has approximately 18,200 registered patients, and we offer all the competencies associated with a traditional primary care center. We are strongly committed to educating the healthcare personnel of the future.

Work with mental health issues at the primary care level covers a broad field of practice with patients aged 18 and above. As a psychologist, you will primarily work with evidence-based psychological treatment, to some extent crisis intervention, and supportive conversations. Your duties also include screening for neuropsychiatric conditions and differential diagnosis in cases of more severe mental illness.

You will have physical visits at the clinic, but there is also the possibility of conducting digital treatment contacts. We strive for short waiting times for an initial assessment and good accessibility based on each patient's individual needs. We view further development and improvement as an important part of our work, as well as developing care and treatment for mental illness. Supervision and further education are a natural part of the job. Of course, you work in a cross-professional manner and collaborate with internal and external actors.

Your knowledge and competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist with experience in treatment work. Previous experience from working in primary care is an advantage. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

We appreciate that you are a positive and engaged person, flexible, have good collaboration skills, and are confident working independently. You take responsibility for your tasks, are meticulous, and strive for high quality in your work. You structure your own working method together with other professional groups at the primary care center. We place great importance on personal qualities.
