Job Description

The role of Assistance Case Manager involves processing cases according to the Social Services Act, specifically regarding elderly care and social psychiatry. You will receive applications, investigate them, make decisions according to the delegation order, and follow up on assistance measures. Your direct supervisor is the Unit Manager for Adults/LSS at the Authority Unit. The role involves contact with users, relatives, and collaboration with our own executive unit as well as healthcare.

Our assistance case manager group consists of four case managers. As one of our colleagues is on parental leave, we are looking for a colleague who can contribute. We have a clear structure and division of tasks within the group to create opportunities for doing a good job under good conditions, but also flexibility where we support each other when needed.

As an employee at the Authority Unit, it is part of every employee's assignment to be involved in our quality development and contribute to the development of new working methods, guidelines, and routines, as well as adherence to these. This also means that all employees have the opportunity to contribute to and influence the work.

Qualifications

Requirements: You must be a social worker or have another education that we assess as suitable.

Merits: Experience in assistance case management or other authority case management according to the Social Services Act. Experience with IBIC, LifeCare, My Plans, as well as knowledge of elderly care, living conditions for the elderly, and mental disabilities.

Employment Conditions

  • Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
  • Duration: Start date is August 24th or as agreed.
  • Working Hours: Working hours are 08:00-17:00 with the possibility of flexible hours.
