Your Role With Us

As a support assistant and resource staff member, you will cover absences in several different daily operations aimed at individuals with autism. The working hours are scheduled from Monday to Friday during daytime.

Your tasks primarily involve providing participants with:

• Individual support in their tasks and activities.
• Support in developing and maintaining skills and communication, taking the disability into account.
• Support in increasing participation.
• Support in self-determination and personal integrity.
• Documentation according to current guidelines.
• When applicable, performing medical tasks based on delegation from a nurse, or assisting participants with self-care.
• Acting as a contact person when needed, with responsibility for ensuring implementation plans are created and followed up on.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for you who have a completed education from the Care and Nursing Program or the Child and Youth Program with a focus on social work. Experience or education in working with individuals with autism and knowledge of clear pedagogy are required.

It is an advantage if you have experience and education in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and low-affective interaction.

Since the job requires good communication and documentation, we assume you are computer literate and proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. A B-driver's license with a manual transmission is a requirement for the position.

You have the ability to follow instructions, routines, and statutory requirements. You are cooperative, flexible, social, and enjoy the variety of having multiple workplaces.

About Us

The Care Administration in Kristianstad Municipality offers support to the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and those needing home healthcare. The operations are divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing housing, healthcare, and disability support. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national gymnasium, and the assistive technology center in Eastern Skåne.
