As the Manager, you have overall responsibility for our supported housing units for young people and adults, as well as our sheltered housing. Placements are made through SoL (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) or LVU (Care of Young Persons Act) via the Social Services. Our clients may have complex needs related to substance abuse, mental health issues, domestic violence, honor-related issues, or norm and behavioral challenges.

In your role, you are responsible for ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with current legislation, permits, and guidelines. This means you lead and distribute the work, ensure quality assurance of interventions, support and supervise staff, and follow up on implementation plans and care plans together with the team. You are also responsible for documentation, reporting, contact with external actors, and ensuring that the operations maintain high quality.

As Manager, you are also present in the daily work and have close contact with the clients. Your task is to create a safe environment together with the staff, where clients are supported in developing their skills and building a stable foundation for independence.

The work is performed during office hours.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and be responsible for the daily operations in the supported housing.
• Ensure that operations comply with legislation, permits, and routines.
• Supervise, support, and follow up on staff work.
• Be responsible for quality assurance, documentation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with social services, authorities, and other actors.
• Follow up on care plans and implementation plans together with staff.
• Be involved in client work and contribute to a safe and stable environment.
• Handle acute situations and make decisions as needed.
• Plan and distribute tasks and scheduling.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience in social work, preferably with a focus on young people and adults with special needs.
• Degree in Social Work (Social Work) or a 400-point Higher Vocational Education (YH) in Social Pedagogy.
• Experience working within social services with children and young people, or in HVB (residential care) and supported housing for young people, is meritorious.
• Knowledge in low-arousal approaches, social law, ESL, CBT, TMO, ART, RePulse, KSL, FREDA, PATRIARK, SARA, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) is meritorious.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good documentation habits.
