Furuboda Assistans is a private personal assistance provider in southern Sweden with roots in the non-profit Furuboda Association. The company was established in 2005 and is a growing business. Currently, Furuboda Assistans consists of approximately 700 employees. We strive to be a role model in sustainable business. We are currently looking for a responsible hourly substitute for an elderly man living in Trelleborg. In this role, you will support the customer in his daily life based on his specific needs. Since the customer has diabetes, the care work is governed by clear routines that must be followed carefully, meaning you need to be both structured and meticulous in your work. It is also important to note that the customer has previously owned a cat and will likely get one soon, so it is important that you are not allergic to cats.

For this position, experience in healthcare and social care is a requirement as you need to quickly familiarize yourself with the medical routines. In addition to your experience, we place great emphasis on your personality and attitude. Chemistry is crucial for us, as the goal is for the collaboration to feel genuinely good and secure for both the customer and you as an assistant.

Working hours vary, and flexibility is a must to succeed in the role. Shifts are scheduled during daytime, evening, awake night, and weekends. During parts of the day, there is also some double staffing, which means you sometimes work together with a colleague in the home.
