About Me

I am a boy of about 2.5 years old with Treacher Collins syndrome, a tracheostomy (track), and a feeding button (G-tube) on my stomach. I live in Trelleborg with my family, consisting of my mom, dad, and two siblings aged 13 and 9.

About You

I am looking for you, who has a big heart and is close to laughter. I want you to be a creative person with a childlike spirit. You are kind, considerate, and self-assured. You should be proactive, meticulous, and responsible.

Your task will be to assist me at home and out in the community, in close connection with family members, relatives, and friends. My assistants also accompany me when I go to my preschool. Therefore, it is important that you are flexible and attentive. You must be able to collaborate, as I require double assistance 24 hours a day, including awake nights.

Requirements

• You, as an assistant, must have excellent spoken Swedish skills.
• You, as an assistant, must be smoke-free during work shifts.

Merits

• It is an advantage but not a requirement if you, as an assistant, have experience working with tracheostomies (track).
• It is an advantage but not a requirement if you, as an assistant, have experience working with young children.

Greatest emphasis will be placed on personal chemistry.

The role of Personal Assistant

As a personal assistant, you represent Hela Sveriges Assistans. In the role of a personal assistant, you will complete a web-based training on what it is like to work as a personal assistant. Together with the client and your colleagues, you will strive for high quality and follow the company's values and policies.

As a personal assistant, you are responsible for reviewing information sent by the headquarters, and if necessary, seeking information available on the website. For other matters, you contact your supervisor or the headquarters.

Before we offer employment, you must show an unopened extract/digital mailbox from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, for example, a passport or an approved work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency.

We train our employees to ensure the quality of personal assistance. All our new employees complete a web-based introductory training for personal assistants before their first work shift, or no later than one month after the start of employment.

As a personal assistant at Hela Sveriges Assistans AB, you are covered by the Almega/Healthcare Employers' collective agreement, including agreed occupational pension, training, and favorable wellness benefits.
