About the Role

As a Team Leader at Securitas, you will help create strong teams, where your engagement and your ability to lead with care and clarity make a real difference – both for your colleagues and our customers. You have a coordinating function and are essentially the link that connects the customer's contact persons with your own line management and the colleagues around you.

We are currently looking for a Team Leader for the office in Norrtälje. Fundamentally, you work as a security guard, but your task is also to ensure that your team has the right prerequisites to carry out daily work in the best possible way. The role is divided approximately 50/50 between operational work in the form of alarm response and patrol activities, and administrative tasks. You work closely and function as a natural extension of the line management, contributing to structure, planning, and clear support for the team in daily work. Working hours are scheduled between 06:30 and 18:30, following a so-called 5-2 schedule.

In the role, you will among other things:

• Lead and plan the daily work for our stationary and patrolling assignments in a structured and inclusive manner
• Be involved in staffing optimization
• Handle emergency vacancies during holidays
• Act as the local link between the customer and colleagues, ensuring the right deployment based on the assignment
• Ensure that our policies are followed and that we jointly maintain high quality in our work

Requirements

In addition to your personal qualities, we also look for the following qualifications:

• You are a trained security guard with at least VU2 certification
• Professional experience from the security industry
• Approved grades in Swedish from upper secondary school
• Category B driver's license
• Swedish citizenship

We also consider it meritorious if you have:

• Experience in line management
• Worked as a Team Leader at Securitas
• Team Leader training
• AFG training (Work Environment for Team Leaders)
• Experience from our support systems (e.g., Tools, GSP)

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, you are required to have approved grades from the first year of upper secondary school in Swedish and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements for approval according to the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. The assessment concerns lawfulness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

A Category B driver's license is also required for most roles.

Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
