We are now looking for a Controller for our client in Gothenburg, starting immediately.

About the assignment

We are looking for a full-time Controller for our client in Gothenburg for a consultancy assignment via Bemannia, starting immediately until 2027-01-15. You will be based at the client's office in Gothenburg and have the opportunity to work remotely two days a week.

As a Controller, you will work in a supportive and challenging manner towards the business operations to ensure results, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and contribute to well-founded decision-making materials. You will play a central role in budgeting and forecasting, as well as in producing analyses and reports for budget holders.

Your responsibilities

The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in various parts of the organization, and you are expected to actively contribute to internal development and improvement work.

In the role of Controller, you will among other things:

• Drive and develop budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analyze financial data and translate it into clear and value-creating presentations.
• Proactively work with in-depth financial analyses based on business needs as well as the company's strategy and goals.
• Prepare decision-making materials and be responsible for reporting to various units and departments.
• Identify future risks and opportunities and contribute to solutions that ensure long-term sustainability.
• Challenge, coach, and educate the business in commercial and property economic matters.
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and requirements and contribute to the continuous development of processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement work within your area of responsibility and act as a management support based on your competencies.

Your qualifications

• An academic degree in economics, at least at the bachelor's level.
• At least 3 years of experience as a controller or in a similar role.
• Experience working in various finance-related business, planning, and monitoring systems.
• Experience working in a medium-sized or large organization (>50 employees).
• Very good knowledge of MS Office.
