Job Description

As a temporary hourly-paid staff member, you will work where the need arises on a daily basis. The assignments vary depending on the activity, age groups, and your qualifications.

Your tasks may include, for example:

• Leading or supporting teaching in a classroom or smaller groups.
• Working in leisure centers (fritidshem) with activities, safety, and social development.
• Supporting children in preschool pedagogical activities, play, and routine situations.
• Assisting individual children, students, or student groups during the day.
• Participating in break-time activities, meals, and outdoor play.
• Contributing to safety, structure, and a calm working environment.

No two days are alike, and it is this variety that makes the job both developing and enjoyable.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and young people and wants to contribute to a safe, educational, and positive daily life in our activities.

Education in child and youth programs, teacher training, preschool teacher training, or other relevant education is meritorious, as is experience working in preschools, leisure centers, or schools. Whether you are a qualified or unqualified teacher, studying pedagogy, or have other experience working with children and young people, you are warmly welcome to apply.

However, the most important thing for us is that you:

• Have a welcoming attitude and create safe relationships.
• Are responsible, flexible, and team-oriented.
• Can adapt to different activities and situations.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Are at least 18 years old.
• Can report for duty with short notice when needed.

Experience from preschools, leisure centers, primary schools, or special needs schools is meritorious.

Terms and Application

Please attach diplomas, certificates, childcare education credentials, preschool teacher license, and/or teacher license if you have them.

Salary: Hourly wage.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3–6 months, start date: 2026-08-17.
