RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to help create a safe, accessible, and developmental school environment for our students? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

As a values pedagogue at Tröingeskolan, you have a central role in the school's safety and values work. You work closely with students, guardians, staff, and external actors to contribute to all students feeling safe, seen, and included in the school's activities.

An important part of the assignment is to investigate, document, and follow up on cases concerning bullying and conflicts between students. You collaborate with mentors, teachers, and the student health team to ensure that students receive the right support and that the school's routines are followed.

You work both promoting, preventive, and corrective through interventions at the individual, group, and organizational levels. The role includes process-leading parts of the school's work regarding safety, equal treatment, and values, as well as contributing to students' participation in the school's democratic work, for example through student councils and other forums for influence.

As a values pedagogue, you are also responsible for the school's student café. The student café is an important meeting place where you build relationships with students, create a safe social environment, and offer activities that promote community, well-being, and participation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have experience working with children and young people, as well as a strong commitment to safety, values, and student health issues.

The following are meritorious for the position:

• Working with older students in primary school.
• Investigating and documenting bullying cases.
• Conducting promoting and preventive work regarding safety, equal treatment, and values.
• Collaborating with guardians, student health services, and external authorities.
• Handling conflicts and supporting students in challenging situations.
• Working in digital documentation systems, preferably Prorenata or similar.

It is meritorious if you have experience leading student influence work such as student councils, food councils, or other democratic forums.

As a person, you are secure, relationship-building, and solution-focused. You have a good ability to create trusting relationships with students and adults, as well as to work both independently and together with other professions.
