Your Responsibilities
We are looking for a teacher with subject competence in French. The position includes mentorship and requires close collaboration with other teachers.
As a teacher at Klaraskolan, it is important that you are a confident and clear leader with strong pedagogical skills. You are skilled at adapting teaching to students' needs and approach your work from a relational perspective. By using collaborative structures, you promote student-active teaching and maintain a formative attitude. You have high expectations of students and motivate them to learn and develop by clarifying goals and knowledge requirements. It is crucial that you meet all students with a positive attitude, promote their participation and influence, and remain flexible and creative. You also value building relationships with students outside the classroom.
You collaborate easily and see the work team as an asset. Together with the team, you plan, implement, evaluate, and develop teaching based on the school's governing documents and local development plans. The role requires a good ability to analyze students' needs and use well-adapted methodology. You are confident in documenting students' knowledge development and have good knowledge of our digital platforms (e.g., Unikum, Teams). You have a non-hierarchical attitude and enjoy challenging others and sharing your experiences.
Your Qualifications
Certified teacher with subject competence in French. Previous experience working at the lower secondary school level is an advantage.

If offered employment within the Child and Youth Administration, you are required to present a certificate of good conduct from the Police Register for work in schools/preschools. The certificate is free of charge but takes approximately 2–3 weeks to process, so please order it in good time!
