In 1997, MoA Learning Centre was founded in Linköping with the vision of providing high-quality, warm, and heartfelt education for adults. The organization has grown steadily since then, and today we offer education within the Nursing and Care Programme on several locations. At MoA Learning Centre in Varberg, the student and learning are at the center. We offer nursing and care education in our modern, adapted facilities.

The position is full-time (100%), and the responsibilities include planning, documenting, and conducting teaching in classrooms and remotely. All activities are carried out in accordance with current regulations, the Swedish National Agency for Education's course plans, as well as our internal guidelines and policies.

As a teacher in adult education, your task is to lead and teach students. Therefore, it is important that you are engaged, have pedagogical aptitude, and the ability to motivate and inspire our students. You are passionate about working closely with students in their learning and personal development by being accessible and helping them in their studies. You should be positive towards pedagogical work in teams, able to take initiative, and capable of working both independently and in teams. Since we are a smaller school, it is valuable if you have the ability to see opportunities, want to be involved in developing our operations, and thrive in a dynamic, goal-oriented environment where everyone strives for the same goal and helps each other.

Experience in adult education, multicultural work, validation, and digital learning is advantageous. We would like you to be structured, flexible, and solution-focused. It is desirable that you have a teacher's degree and teacher certification with eligibility to teach the subjects included in the nursing and care education, or alternatively, that you are a licensed nurse with a strong interest in pedagogy. We appreciate if you have previous experience of teaching in upper secondary school and/or adult education. Experience with the systems Alvis, Itslearning, and SharePoint is a plus.

Start date: As soon as possible or according to agreement.

Employment level: 100%

Duration: Permanent (we always apply a probationary period of 6 months)

Salary: Fixed monthly salary with individual salary setting (MoA Learning Centre has a collective agreement).
