About the Role

Are you a medical secretary who thrives in a role with varied tasks? Then we at the orthopedic department in Örnsköldsvik could be your next workplace. Currently, we are six medical secretaries belonging to a county clinic for orthopedics. We operate at all three hospitals in the county. Your main placement and assignment will be linked to the operations in Örnsköldsvik. We work Monday to Friday. We are looking for a medical secretary for a full-time temporary position with us. Start date 2026-09-01 or as agreed until 2027-04-01.

Responsibilities

• The main task is dictation typing.
• Handling incoming documents and other tasks related to the assignment, for example, providing administrative support to the hospital's orthopedic ward to prepare planned admissions for surgery.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Have education as a medical secretary.
• Have experience in IT usage in a professional role.
• Have good knowledge of the Office package.
• Have work experience working in systems such as MedSpeech and Cosmic.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
• Have good knowledge of the healthcare information system Cosmic.

It is an advantage if you

• Have knowledge of DRG classification or other medical classification systems.
• Have experience working with quality registers and statistical registration.
• Have good knowledge of medical terminology.
