Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division Close Care, along with Ambulance Services, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Primary care is organized into 4 local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under "Good and Close Care." Each local care area is an economic unit led by a business manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's healthcare advice, youth clinic, and the local care ward Näva, all of which are grant-funded.

This position is a combined role involving duties as a medical secretary and administrative support, specifically related to scheduling and supporting management. More information will be provided during any potential interview.
As a medical secretary, you will be part of an administrative team with colleagues located at Åre Health Centre, as well as colleagues working remotely or stationed at our neighboring health centers, Järpen and Hallen. Together, we are a strong team handling tasks at each health center, as well as shared tasks distributed according to a schedule. We have weekly joint meetings and maintain good, supportive daily communication via chat or phone. Although we are located at different workplaces, we have a strong sense of community and work as a cohesive team. Additionally, we have a manager who works closely with our administrative team, in addition to the unit manager at Åre Health Centre.
As a medical secretary during the winter and summer seasons, you will write patient records based on dictation, handle mail and incoming documents, manage record copies, and perform daily control tasks in our record system. Furthermore, you are a key hub in the network and a service function for other employees regarding administration and matters within your profession. It is important that you understand the importance of our role in a business that ramps up during the season. We are looking for someone who is careful but also efficient when printing dictation. We handle diagnostic classification daily, so it is advantageous if you have training in this and understand its application in primary care. Good support is also available from your colleagues.
Education as a medical secretary. Additionally, experience in scheduling and structural organizational work is highly meritorious. Personal suitability is given great importance.
