The Security Business Area is responsible for the management, control, coordination, and follow-up of security work within the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. The area's responsibilities include information security, security protection, crisis preparedness, sector responsibility, incident management, and access administration. The security work is based on the Agency's security management system, which the business area is also responsible for developing and maintaining.

Information Security

All employees within the Security Business Area have a primary focus within one of our areas of responsibility. As a Business Specialist, you are part of the Access area, and the position is primarily focused on work within the information security field.

As a Business Specialist, you work to support operations within the access area. You lead, participate in, and are responsible for the development of processes and documentation within the subject area. You monitor the subject area and produce and analyze statistics. As a Business Specialist, you are responsible for identifying needs within the subject area, answering complex questions, and providing support through advice, both internally and externally, in both oral and written forms. The role involves contributing to the change and development of processes and, when necessary, acting as a teacher. In consultation with your nearest manager, you are responsible for making necessary prioritizations in your work to achieve the organization's established goals. The position includes handling access cases.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who are to work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for you who

  • have a university degree in a relevant subject area, or equivalent competence acquired through several years of work experience in similar work
  • have experience working in a helpdesk, for example with IT support
  • have experience with continuous improvements and quality development
  • have very good IT skills
  • collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals
  • have a systematic and meticulous work approach
  • bring innovative ideas and solutions that promote development
  • act on your own initiative and take responsibility for achieving good results
  • are secure and trustworthy, even in stressful situations
  • have good communication skills, both verbal and written.

It is an advantage if you

  • have specialist competence or corresponding in-depth knowledge in the access area, acquired through current experience from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.

Other Information

Several positions, permanent, full-time, with start date as agreed. Probationary period may apply. Some employment with us involves participation in security-sensitive operations. To be employed in such a position, a successful security check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required.

In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks are conducted in this recruitment. In this recruitment, work psychological tests may be used as part of the selection process. The position requires on-site work at the office in Arvidsjaur.
