RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Social Secretary at the Centre Against Violence (CMV), you will play a key role in our work to provide coordinated support to victims of violence, perpetrators, and relatives. We are a newly established, cross-professional, and county-wide operation where we jointly build future support for violence in close relationships, honor-based violence and oppression, and prostitution and human trafficking. The Centre Against Violence in Kronoberg County offers support, competence, and coordination, working together against violence. We meet people where they are, flexible in how we work, present in various environments, and easy to reach on multiple platforms.

The Centre Against Violence is also the county's competence center and drives development by gathering competence, strengthening collaboration, and developing working methods. Through professional treatment, specialist competence, and the ability to meet different target groups, we create trust and understanding.

The advertised position as a Social Secretary at the Centre Against Violence focuses on work related to violence in close relationships and is a fixed-term appointment for a colleague who is going on parental leave. Social secretaries conduct counseling and support, protective placements, structured risk assessments, and safety planning.

As a Social Secretary at the Centre Against Violence, you help build an operation with multiple perspectives where we constantly shape our mission based on the needs we see from citizens, as well as from collaboration and method development. The Centre Against Violence was launched at the turn of 2026 and consists of several professions. In addition to social secretaries, you will work closely with colleagues who are therapists, coordinators, and regional coordinators. Here, you have the chance to help shape a truly important operation on several levels in society.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a social worker and have a secure client focus, even in acute situations. Since we collaborate broadly, you need to be a team player who easily builds trusting contacts, both internally and externally.

Requirements for the position:

• Class B driver's license
• University degree in Social Work (Social Worker)
• Knowledge of current social legislation
• One year of experience in public administration/authority work

Merits:

• Experience from violence in close relationships
• Training in PATRIARK and SARA

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: Permanent position with start date by agreement during autumn 2026. Interviews take place in August.
