Welcome to the business area of Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, and Habilitation! Our mission is to offer all residents of Kronoberg County specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. Care is provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient involvement in focus. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment with the best possible competence.

Specialist Psychiatry for Children, Young People, and Adults provides modern and specialized psychiatric care in collaboration with relatives and other healthcare providers. A good work environment with motivated and competent staff is a prerequisite for us to succeed in our mission.

General Psychiatry is organized into specialized units where staff work based on integrated teams, outpatient care, and inpatient care that follow the patient throughout the entire care chain. Within General Psychiatry Unit 1, patients with affective disorders, PTSD, anxiety issues, and patients at risk of suicide are primarily treated.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a new employee for the role of therapist, with a focus on being a permanent care contact for patients at General Psychiatry Unit 1.

All patients who wish to have the right to a permanent care contact within Specialist Psychiatry, this is to contribute to ensuring safety, security, and continuity for the patient.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Being a named contact for the patient if they need to contact healthcare
• Coordinating care when necessary
• Being involved in the care planning process

You will work both independently and in collaboration with your colleagues at the unit. Depending on your profession, other tasks may also become relevant, such as being responsible for patient education, medication follow-up, or other interventions offered within General Psychiatry Unit 1.

Within Specialist Psychiatry for Children, Young People, and Adults, you will be involved in the ongoing development work we conduct at the unit. We offer you an independent and developing job with good opportunities for competence development as well as high access to supervision and mentoring.

Qualifications

You who apply are educated and graduated as a social worker, nurse, care assistant, or whatever education the employer considers relevant. We would like you to have a few years of experience working in psychiatric operations.

You have good cooperation skills and enjoy working both independently and in teams. You feel secure in uncertain situations, stand up for your own opinions, and welcome change and development with a strong focus on the patients. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

A B-driver's license is desirable.
