WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want a flexible job where you make a difference every day? We are now looking for care assistants for our staffing pool within disability services!

As a care assistant in our staffing pool, you will have the opportunity to work at several different workplaces, such as group homes, supported housing, short-term care, and personal assistance. The work is varied and developmental – no two days are alike!

In this role, you need to be confident in your professional competence and quickly adapt to new work environments. You work independently, take initiative, and adapt your working methods based on the needs of the care recipients. A key part of the job is collaborating with different work groups, where you contribute to a good work climate and a functional daily life. You have a professional attitude and treat both care recipients and colleagues with humility, patience, and flexibility. The work requires that you can plan, prioritize, and thrive in a daily life where conditions sometimes change with short notice.

With us, you choose your own degree of employment and plan when you want to work. You register your availability in TimeCare Pool and are booked based on the needs of the operations. Work shifts may sometimes be assigned with short notice, so it is important that you are flexible and comfortable with rapid changes. On-call duties may occur at some workplaces.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for the position, you must have a completed education from the Care and Nursing Programme, Child and Youth Programme, Nurse Education with additional training, Caretaker Education, or Childcare Education of at least two years. Alternatively, other education that the employer assesses as equivalent, such as behavioral science or pedagogical education of at least 120 credits. It is an advantage if you have specialization within disability services.

We are looking for you who have good knowledge of and experience working with people with intellectual disabilities, autism, and/or physical functional variations. Previous experience working within disability care is considered an advantage.

The work places high demands on flexibility and the ability to work independently. Since you work in a staffing pool organization, you will meet many different care recipients and work groups, which requires a professional approach and attitude. It is important that you can adapt to different operations, collaborate well, and handle information responsibly.

You need to be able to independently seek and absorb the information required to perform the work. Interest in schedule planning is an advantage as you are responsible for following routines and recommendations when planning your working hours. The work also involves using digital systems such as PS, Lifecare, and TimeCare Pool, as well as communicating via phone, SMS, and email.

Documentation is an important part of the work, which means you need to have good skills in expressing yourself well in both speech and writing.

A driver's license (Category B) and access to a car are required.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-09-01 or as agreed.
