About the position

We are currently looking for a personal assistant for a cheerful and social 30-year-old man living in Lammhult. The position offers great flexibility as the employment level can be adjusted between 40% and 85% based on your preferences.

The client uses a wheelchair and needs your support to make daily life run smoothly. He has a strong interest in sports – with a special focus on ice hockey – so it is a big plus if you share this interest. Your tasks are varied and include:

• Personal care: Support with transfers, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Household chores: Cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
• Workplace support: The client works as an administrator during the day, and you will accompany him as support at his workplace.
• Social companionship: Being available for good conversations and company.

Working hours: Weekdays 08:00–16:00 (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday). There is some flexibility regarding working hours based on your preferences.

About you

As a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for our client. You will be an important part of their life and contribute to their independence and well-being.

We are looking for you who are social, sensitive, comfortable in different situations, willing to work, relatively flexible, punctual, organized, and cheerful. We would appreciate it if you have good physical fitness as lifting occurs. A driver's license is required for the position. It is also important that you are not allergic to fur-bearing animals as there are pets in the home. The most important factor is the personal chemistry between you as the applicant and the client. This may become decisive in the final selection.

• Access to a car to commute to the workplace

Scope: Part-time between 40-85% according to preferences. Number of positions: 1-2. Start date: Week 32. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position will be filled as soon as possible. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant with us.

If you are to work with this client, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record register and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
