Your tasks involve investigating needs, making decisions on interventions, and following up on interventions and decisions in accordance with the Social Services Act.

You will work in a team where there is a wealth of combined experience and knowledge, and close collaboration is second nature. We are facing an reorganization here at the Authority Department, so your work team may change during this period.

In addition to contact with the individual, relatives, and guardians, you will collaborate closely with home care services as well as other professions and authorities.

At the workplace, there are several different work groups, such as case workers for ordinary housing, case workers within LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), case workers for short-term placements/Specialized housing and housing coordination, subsystem managers, and fee case workers.

We have a committee that works to promote health by organizing various activities throughout the year, both physical activities and social gatherings. At the Authority Department, we actively work to create good conditions in a learning environment. Växjö Municipality offers health subsidies to its employees.

It is important that you have good knowledge of current legislation and the ability to apply it in your work. Furthermore, you need to be development-oriented and have an interest and commitment to the development of the operations.

Computer proficiency is important as documentation, searching for information, and communicating via email, Teams, and other channels are a large part of the daily work. We use Lifecare and Cosmic LINK.

You need to have good collaboration skills with both your closest colleagues and other partners, both internally and externally. Meetings, such as SIP (Coordinated Individual Plan) and team conferences, are recurring parts of the work.

The work requires the ability to plan and independently perform the tasks included in the assignment. You need to have good verbal and written communication skills.
