We are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for a man in his 60s, living a bit outside Lagan in Ljungby Municipality. The man works at a day activity center and enjoys activities such as going to the gym, bowling, and playing games in his spare time. The work includes personal care, rehabilitation, motivation, and activation. It is important that you are meticulous about cleaning and have good hygiene. The work group is characterized by warmth and care for one another.
Who are you as an applicant? You who apply are a cheerful, warm, social, patient, orderly, and flexible person who can take appropriate initiatives. You enjoy being outdoors and want to contribute to and motivate the client to have an active life. You should be able to work independently but also collaborate, showing loyalty and flexibility towards other assistants in the group. Important qualities are that you show respect and dignity towards the client, while also being a person with positive energy and a good sense of humor. We are primarily looking for male applicants.
It is a plus if you share the client's Christian worldview.
Requirements:
- Category B driver's license and access to a car, as the man lives in a rural area.
- Non-smoker.
- Good knowledge of English, as the client is English-speaking.
About the employment
- The employment is permanent for as long as the assignment lasts. We offer a fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other benefits according to the collective agreement.
- Working hours vary between day, evening, and weekends. Schedule: Every other week Thursday 07:00–21:00, every other week Monday and Wednesday 07:00–21:00, and every sixth Saturday 07:00–18:00.
- Regular workplace meetings take place where the development of the assignment is discussed.
- You will receive training and introduction to medical tasks, as well as ongoing competence development based on the needs of the assignment.
- The selection process is ongoing. More information about the assignment will be provided during a potential interview. Start date is by agreement. Employment with Novum Assistans requires that you have a BankID and approve the use of your BankID in the service.
