Do you want to work close to advanced hardware in a technically complex and socially critical environment? We are now looking for a Senior HW/System Engineer for a role focused on support, analysis, and further development of an established Electronic Warfare system installed in aircraft.

About the Role

In this role, you will work with a mature and advanced system where the focus is on in-service support. You will become an important part of the work ensuring the system's functionality, quality, and long-term operational reliability.

The work involves close collaboration with production, testing, design functions, and other technical stakeholders. You will work broadly with requirements management, technical documentation, integration, verification, and qualification, as well as supporting production and troubleshooting technical issues.

This is a role for you if you thrive close to hardware, enjoy technical problem-solving, and appreciate working with established products in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Work with requirements management and systems engineering activities
• Produce, update, and review technical documentation
• Participate in integration, verification, and qualification activities
• Support production with technical questions
• Troubleshoot and analyze technical problems
• Conduct analysis and investigations of test failures
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, production, testing, and design functions

We are looking for someone who has

• A university degree in technical physics, electrical engineering, or another relevant technical field
• At least 10 years of experience as a systems engineer or hardware engineer
• A strong technical interest and good understanding of hardware development
• Strong analytical skills and good problem-solving abilities
• Good communication skills and experience in cross-functional collaboration
• Very good proficiency in both Swedish and English

Meritorious Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience in RF (Radio Frequency)
• Experience from defense, railway, automotive, aviation, or medical technology industries
• Experience in hardware testing and qualification activities
• Familiarity with systems engineering processes such as ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 or INCOSE
• Experience with aviation standards such as ARP4754, ARP4761, or DO-254

Other Information

The position is security-classified and requires you to undergo and pass approval according to current security protection regulations. For some security-classified roles, Swedish citizenship may also be required.
