About the RoleYou will step into a complex and socially important development environment within the public health sector, where digital services support contact tracing, vaccinations, genetic sequencing data, supervision, permit management, and follow-up. Here, you work close to the operations in systems with high demands for quality, security, regulatory compliance, and stable delivery.
The role suits you if you thrive on combining development, integration, and technical advisory in a modern DevOps culture. You will become a key part of the work to further develop secure and scalable solutions together with architects, other development teams, and business stakeholders. Responsibilities- You develop and enhance digital services and system support in modern Java-based environments.
- You build integration and API solutions with a focus on robustness, security, and long-term maintenance.
- You work in DevOps teams with responsibility throughout the entire development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and operational support.
- You drive automation of unit, integration, and test flows and contribute to efficient CI/CD processes.
- You develop scalable and secure microservice solutions with support for event- and message-driven architecture.
- You collaborate closely with business, architects, and other teams to find sustainable technical solutions.
- You document solutions and contribute to knowledge transfer that strengthens internal competence capital.
- At least seven years of experience in full-stack development.
- At least five years of experience in backend system development in Java, as well as Springboot or Quarkus.
- At least five years of experience working in a DevOps context.
- Five years of experience developing web services using REST and SOAP.
- Three years of experience in integration testing.
- Three years of experience with certificate-based security in the form of HTTPS/TLS.
- At least two years of IT experience within highly regulated operations with high protection value.
- Very good experience in describing integrations according to the OpenAPI specification.
- Good knowledge of introducing and developing automated unit and integration tests.
- Good experience with CI/CD processes and automation with GitLab or similar.
- Good knowledge of event/message-driven design, Reactive Microservices, and scalability.
- Good current knowledge of IT and information security relative to IT development.
- Good knowledge of architecture and software design.
- Good knowledge of database management in Maria DB and MySQL.
- Good experience with Kafka or similar.
- Experience working with orchestration solutions such as Docker Swarm/K8.
- Experience with authentication and authorization based on OAuth2.
- Experience with permission and identity management, such as Keycloak, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, or similar.
- Good knowledge of building internal competence capital through documentation.
- Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance check (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not permitted)
- Experience in frontend development in Angular 2+ or similar.
- Experience working with FHIR.
- Experience with observability solutions based on Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring, dashboarding, and alerting.
- Experience with application instrumentation using OpenTelemetry for collecting metrics, traces, and logs.
