As a Junior Communicator at the agency, you will work both independently and in a team with other communicators and colleagues at the agency. You will drive and participate in the development of communications for all our target groups.

For this position, we prefer someone who is a recent graduate and at the beginning of their career.

Responsibilities

Here is what you can expect from the role:

Work with target-group-adapted communication within the total defense area through all the agency's channels. Together with the rest of the unit, you will assess the organization's communication needs and participate in planning and implementation.

Experience working with social media content.

Qualifications

This position requires education from a university/college in communication or other education that the employer deems relevant. Knowledge of CMS tools (we use Sitevision), image editing, and design (we use Adobe CS). You must be able to handle the entire communication process, for example, developing messages, writing news, and publishing on the web and in social media.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the total defense area, an understanding of government operations, and knowledge of crisis communication.

As a person, you are engaged, curious, receptive, and structured. You drive your assignments from idea to goal and seek solutions to move forward. You enjoy working with others, but you also have no problem working independently. You must also have a humble approach.

This is a broad role with many contact surfaces, so it is important that you enjoy building relationships both internally and externally.

Conditions

The position is a fixed-term employment for 6 months with the intention of starting on September 1st through February 28th, 2027.

The employment is security-classified, and we therefore conduct a security check with register control according to the regulations in the Security Protection Act. The employment includes an obligation to be war-placed (mobilized).

At the Swedish National Service and Evaluation Authority (Plikt- och prövningsverket), we work to make Sweden safer. Our main task is to conduct medical examinations, enroll personnel in basic training, and register personnel in the wartime organization. We also conduct tests and assessments for other agencies, such as the Police and the Swedish Defence University.
