Your Workplace
The Centre for Clinical Research and Education (CKFU) is a central function within Region Värmland, tasked with supporting, developing, and coordinating the region's work in clinical research, education, and competence development.
Within CKFU, several operations are gathered; the centre for clinical research, research support for clinical studies, education units for healthcare professions, the Clinical Training Centre (KTC), and the hospital library. Together, we contribute to strengthening quality, patient safety, and knowledge development in healthcare.
CKFU is organizationally placed under the healthcare management and has close cooperation with both internal operations and external actors, such as universities and other regions.
Your Responsibilities
As a Management and Research Coordinator, you have a central and coordinating role in the operations. You work closely with the Operations Manager and Unit Managers, contributing to creating structure, efficiency, and quality in both management work and research-related processes. The role combines qualified administrative support with the coordination and development of working methods within clinical research.
Your main responsibilities include:
- providing qualified support to the Operations Manager and Unit Managers in management and operational matters
- coordinating and organizing research-related activities and processes within the region
- administering and developing work in the research portal Researchweb in collaboration with research support
- managing calls for applications, applications, and processing procedures
- supporting work with fund distribution, follow-up, and reporting
- acting as a support to researchers and doctoral students in matters concerning calls for applications and administrative processes
- collaborating with external actors, such as universities and other organizations
- contributing to the development of structures and working methods in areas such as data management, clinical studies, and archiving
Your Skills and Competencies
We are looking for you who have:
- a relevant university or college degree
- excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- excellent digital competence and experience working in various systems
To succeed in the role, you are structured, planning and organizing your work. You are self-reliant, take initiative, and are characterized by a strong service focus and a solution-oriented attitude. You are flexible and have an easy time prioritizing your tasks, while enjoying collaboration and building trusting relationships. Furthermore, you have the ability to see the big picture while handling details effectively.
It is meritorious if you have experience in qualified management or executive support in a complex organization. Experience working in a politically governed operation is also valuable, as is collaboration between the public sector, academia, and industry. Furthermore, experience of research and/or research administration, such as work with applications, agreements, follow-up, or data management, is seen as an advantage.
