We are now looking for a Training Officer for the Planning Department (G5) at the regimental staff, specifically within the War Force Section (KFS). The work is carried out in collaboration with a section consisting of eight colleagues. KFS works closely with G5, the staff's other departments (G0–G10), and all war forces.
Examples of some of KFS's tasks:

You will also work with long-term planning, war force assessment at battalion and/or brigade level, and gain a good understanding of Amf 4 and the Gothenburg garrison.
Description of the Training Officer position:
The Training Officer is part of KFS, where the main work revolves around RU. Within the framework of this work, close collaboration with other parts of the section is required. Since the section is structured as "a staff within a staff," certain preparations require all personnel on the section to participate in the preparation work within various planning frameworks. However, the majority of the work is done in collaboration with the Personnel Officer and the Conscript Handler. The Training Officer is responsible for long-term planning of RU (13 years), exercise planning responsibility, and participates in exercise leadership during execution, for example as deputy exercise leader. You must be prepared to solve additional tasks upon request from higher command within your own area of responsibility and competence.

Performance requirements are according to current planning frameworks, where the activity must result in the war forces having the correct combat readiness at the right time. Furthermore, high integrity, a solution-oriented mindset, and precision in the execution of tasks are required. You are meticulous and unpretentious, which also means you are a good team player. You have a good ability to express your opinions, are clear and communicative in your collaboration with many different actors in various processes. At Älvsborg Amphibian Regiment, in central Gothenburg, we operate where land meets the sea, serving as a vital link between the Army and Naval forces. As a re-established regiment with garrison responsibilities, we are growing and need more competent officers, soldiers, and civilian employees to continue developing the unit for its important mission: Defending Sweden's many coastal archipelago areas and protecting our routes into Scandinavia's largest port to safeguard Sweden's strategic imports.
The Swedish Armed Forces have a strong value base built on openness, results, and responsibility. Professional development and personal health are valued and encouraged. There are good conditions for internal career mobility, wellness programs, and a good balance between work and private life.
An employment with us involves placement in a security class. Swedish citizenship is usually required. A security check with register control will be conducted prior to employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be war-posted. The employment also includes an obligation to serve abroad. The meaning of this varies depending on the type of position.
