About the role

As a Signal Warfare Officer, you will serve at Amf4 G6. G6 is responsible for command and control systems, communications, signal security, and IT at Amf4 and its subordinate combat units.

Main responsibilities:

• As Amf4 currently lacks a dedicated signal warfare function, a significant part of the role initially involves developing this function at Amf4 under C G6.
• Coordination of the signal warfare function across Amf4.
• Planning, execution, and follow-up of operations and exercises from a signal warfare and cyber perspective.
• Conducting training within your own function.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Passed Specialist Officer Examination
• Previous relevant work experience with the Swedish Armed Forces
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Employment type: Permanent position (SO/K). The Swedish Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those not already employed by the agency.

At the Älvsborg Amphibian Regiment, located in central Gothenburg, we operate where land meets sea, serving as a vital link between the Army and Naval forces. A position with us involves placement in a security clearance class. Swedish citizenship is usually required.
