At the Älvsborg Amphibious Regiment, Amf 4, in Gothenburg, the Amphibious Corps operates where land meets the sea. The amphibious unit forms a crucial link between the army and naval forces.
Since 2021, Amf 4 has been a re-established regiment with garrison responsibilities. The unit is growing and needs more competent employees to continue developing the Amphibious Corps in its vital mission: Defending Sweden's archipelago areas and protecting our routes into Scandinavia's largest port. Education Battalion Amf 4 is now recruiting a Personnel Officer!
The Education Battalion at Amf 4 conducts basic training for conscripts and a comprehensive training and course activity for employed personnel. It is also at the Education Battalion that the majority of our newly graduated colleagues begin their careers to consolidate and develop their ability in troop leadership and, within that framework, their leadership skills.
Main Responsibilities
You will join the Education Battalion's staff in the role of Personnel Officer.
As a Personnel Officer, you play a crucial role and are a fundamental prerequisite for the extensive growth journey we are on. We value community, work-life balance, and good health. The staff working at the Education Battalion are primarily military. As a Personnel Officer, you are responsible for personnel services.
Examples of tasks include:
- Support for the Personnel Supply Board (PFN)
- Planning and cooperation with combat units regarding staffing of the Education Battalion
- Military placement of personnel
- Instructor reinforcements within the Swedish Armed Forces
- Reserve officers
You should also be prepared to work as a general staff member outside your regular area of work.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Swedish citizenship
- Category B driver's license
- Employed specialist officer within the Swedish Armed Forces (SO6-7), or OF1
- Meets the Swedish Armed Forces' physical requirements (FM FysS)
QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE
- Previous position as a manager with personnel responsibility.
- Previous training in and experience with personnel services.

Other Information
Employment Type: Full-time 100% permanent employment according to the Officers Ordinance. Individual salary setting applies. The employment begins with a probationary period of 6 months for new hires.
Work Location: Gothenburg (business travel as well as evening and weekend duties occur)
Tests and interviews are conducted as needed.
Start Date: As soon as possible after agreement.
