About the role

Personal assistance is a support measure under the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Certain Functionally Disabled People). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with whatever arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The client is a woman living in Enstaberga, outside Nyköping, who is looking for a personal assistant for the summer. Her individual needs dictate the workday, and the work may include help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities in and outside the home. Our client has a great interest in flowers and gardening, which adds a lovely golden touch to daily life. It is a great advantage if you share this interest and want to spend time in the garden with her.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the client.

Requirements for the role:

• Previous experience in care and support
• Good knowledge of Swedish
• B driver's license (automatic transmission is sufficient) and access to your own car
• Smoke-free during working hours

Merits for the role:

• Share the client's interest in gardening

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, employment level, and salary

As a summer substitute, you will work on a schedule covering approximately 30 hours per week during July and August. Working hours are scheduled during the day (09:00–18:00) and night (18:00–09:00), where the night shift includes 7.5 hours of waiting time. Weekend work is included in the schedule. For the right candidates, there are also good opportunities for continued hourly employment and work after the summer period ends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date

The start date for the position is 2026-07-01. Introduction will take place according to agreement.
