About Viljan Nävertorp HVB
Viljan Nävertorp HVB is a treatment home in Katrineholm for men and women aged 21–65 with substance abuse issues, criminal backgrounds, and mental health challenges. The facility offers structured and individualized treatment in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL).
About the role of Treatment Pedagogue/Social Pedagogue
We work with great commitment in everything concerning our clients. The role of Treatment Pedagogue/Social Pedagogue involves planning, implementing, and following up on pedagogical and therapeutic interventions based on individual needs. The work is built on creating safe relationships, motivating change, and strengthening the individual's ability to become independent. It also includes documenting interventions and participating in planning meetings and development work. You act as a support for the client, and together you develop strategies to achieve goals in daily life.
Main responsibilities for Treatment Pedagogue/Social Pedagogue (Night Shift):
- Night work involves supervision to ensure clients have a safe environment, that no unauthorized persons are present in the house, and that you are available for clients who may need support interventions during the night.
- Documentation.
- Cleaning and preparation for daytime activities, as well as some planning.
Qualifications
You are relationship-oriented and have a good ability to establish contact with people in vulnerable situations. You are calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills, relate to others in a listening manner, and enjoy working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can identify individual needs.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Requirements:
- Graduated Treatment Pedagogue/Social Pedagogue (minimum 400 YHP).
- Class B driver's license.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills and experience with documentation.
Merits:
- Previous work with substance abuse treatment in HVB (residential care).
- Knowledge of MI (Motivational Interviewing) and AP (Activity Planning).
