Development Strategists/Quality Developers for the Health and Care Committee in Oxelösund
In the archipelago town of Oxelösund, you have close access to housing, work, transport, services, nature, and the sea. The Health and Care Committee is responsible for a broad area of operations. The committee oversees elderly care, disability services, individual and family care, as well as the labor market. Approximately 400 employees work with great commitment to implement the committee's tasks, which also involves collaboration with other departments, municipalities, interest organizations, associations, other principal entities such as the state and region, and various companies.

Job Responsibilities
We are looking for two Development Strategists/Quality Developers who will work under the Health and Care Committee. You should, with ability and engagement, be a driving force in developing work to promote people's independence, ensuring that citizens receive support when needed. We prefer that applicants have experience and competence within one or more areas of social services.
The role of Development Strategist/Quality Developer means that you belong to the staff and work within the Health and Care Department, which falls under the Health and Care Committee. You will participate in the management group and also be part of, and sometimes lead, other internal and external collaboration processes, such as implementing a new operational system. You are responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and analyzing systematic quality work together with the management group. This work includes compiling and analyzing operational data from various systems.
Your duties also include monitoring, coordinating, and overseeing political decisions. You conduct Lex Sarah investigations, train staff and managers in the Lex Sarah area, and perform other development work within the field. You are not hesitant to use various tools and methods to support and develop operations, which also involves monitoring the external environment and tracking changes/news in the legislation applicable to the area.
You work with cases for the committee, including annual reports, interim reports, and operational plans, and you understand the context in which you operate. Conducting qualified investigative assignments that form the basis for decisions by the department management and the committee is also part of the role. You see yourself as a support to managers and operations.
Qualifications
We want you to:
- Have an appropriate university education with a focus on healthcare and/or social work, alternatively a social science area, or education that the employer considers equivalent.
- Have experience in development and evaluation work from public operations.
- Be well acquainted with the legislation applicable within the department's area.
- Have very good knowledge of the Office package, which is a prerequisite for the work.
