We need dedicated assistants for one of our younger clients – a girl with a big personality and extensive care needs. As an assistant, you will be a crucial part of creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for both the child and the family.

About the position

Our client is a 9-year-old girl with extensive care needs. She is cheerful and social and needs support with everything in her daily life. She enjoys music, crafts, and going for walks. During the day, you will accompany the girl to school and participate in the lessons. After school hours, you will mostly work at the girl's and her family's home. Therefore, it is important that you are good at communicating, have a kind and respectful attitude, and possess strong empathy.

The girl needs help with everything in her daily life. She does not have a spoken language but expresses herself through sounds and gestures. She uses a feeding tube and requires respiratory assistance, including a cough-assist machine and a sucting device.

The work is based on respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity. A thorough and clear introduction is provided upon employment. A car and a driver's license are required to commute to and from work.

Since the client does not have a spoken language and finds it difficult to express herself, you must be creative, sensitive, and attentive to small signals. Experience in personal assistance is advantageous, but personal suitability and care experience will weigh the most. Please include your availability in your application.

As the client is under 18 years old, a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the criminal record) is required before employment.

You must not be a smoker.

A Category B driver's license is required to commute to and from the workplace.
