Personal Assistants for an Active Man in Oxelösund

I am a man living with my wife in Oxelösund, and I am currently looking for personal assistants who want to help me live an active and fulfilling life. After suffering a stroke, I have acquired functional impairments and receive personal assistance under the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Your support will be a vital part of enabling me to continue doing the things I enjoy and living life on my own terms.

About Me

I am a social and active person who loves going out and finding things to do. Exercise, stretching, walks, and swimming are important parts of my daily routine and rehabilitation. I appreciate assistants who can motivate and support me in keeping both body and mind active.

My greatest interests are classic cars, engines, and cruising. I enjoy visiting car meets, looking at vintage cars, and talking about anything related to engines. If you share this interest, it is a plus, but most importantly, you should enjoy accompanying me on activities and contributing to a positive and active daily life.

I value humor, respect, and good cooperation with my assistants. It is important to me that you are attentive to my needs while also being proactive and engaged.

Job Responsibilities

Tasks may include, among other things:

• Assistance with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing
• Support with mobility and daily activities
• Help with stretching and exercise routines according to instructions
• Accompanying on walks, swimming, and other activities
• Support during meals and simple cooking
• Household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
• Accompanying to car meets, cruising, and other social activities
• Support in planning and executing an active daily life

You will work closely with me both at home and out at activities. Therefore, it is important that you are confident in yourself, have a professional attitude, and enjoy working with people.

Who Are You?

You are responsible, attentive, and have a positive attitude. You see opportunities instead of obstacles and enjoy helping others live an independent and active life. Experience in personal assistance, care, or rehabilitation is advantageous but not a requirement. Personal suitability is of great importance.

It is an advantage if you

• Have a driver's license
• Are non-smoking
• Have an interest in exercise and physical activity
• Enjoy being outdoors and finding things to do
• Have an interest in cars, engines, or cruising
• Are flexible and can adapt to different situations

Workplace and Hours

Workplace: Oxelösund
Working Hours: Day, evening, and weekends according to schedule.
Scope: Part-time, full-time, or as needed according to agreement.
