About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired Persons). As a personal assistant, your main task will be to help the customer with everyday occurrences as well as basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The customer is a woman living in Enstaberga, outside of Nyköping, who is looking for a personal assistant for the summer. Her individual needs dictate the workday, and tasks may include help with mobility, personal care, training, communication, as well as household chores and activities at home and outdoors. Our customer has a great interest in flowers and gardening, which adds a lovely touch to daily life. It is a great advantage if you share this interest and want to spend time in the garden with her.

Who are you?

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the customer.

Requirements for the position:

• Previous experience in care and social services
• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Valid B-driver's license (automatic transmission is sufficient) and access to your own car
• Non-smoker during working hours

• Shares the customer's interest in gardening

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

Working hours are scheduled during the day (09:00–18:00) and night (18:00–09:00), where the night shift includes 7.5 hours of waiting time. Weekend work is included in the schedule. As an hourly substitute, you are on call in case of other staff absence.

Fixed hourly wage as agreed, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date

Immediately. Introduction takes place as agreed.
